Captur 2013 where to find plastic clips to fix roof spoiler

    Where can I find these separate white and black (I do not know why there are two colors, they seem identical) clips that fixes the flat sunken black roof spoiler of a Captur 2013. The item number of the roof spoiler is SILVATRIM <260> 09/07/13 01:22 >ALU.PVC< >POM< >ASA< IND A 738535261R/738522314R

    The numbers you found are not really for the rear roof spoiler. They identify the left/right roof moulding / roof trim strips:

    • 738535261R = left roof moulding / “MLDG-LH ROOF”
    • 738522314R = right roof moulding / “MLDG-RH ROOF”
      Part catalogues list them under Exterior trims / Spoiler, which is probably why it is confusing.

    For these roof trims, Renault’s catalogue shows the roof moulding and screws, but I did not find the white/black plastic clips listed as a separate Renault spare part for that trim. That usually means the clips are supplied with the complete roof moulding, or Renault expects the whole strip to be replaced.

    • Search: 738522314R Zierleiste Dach rechts Captur
    • German listings call them “Zierleiste Dach” or “Zierleiste Dachregenrinne”. I found new examples around €90–100 each.

    Used

    • Search: Renault Captur roof trim bar molding cover 738535261R
    • Used-part sites list the left roof trim, for example around €50.

    Clip specialists

    • VehicleClips lists Renault Captur Mk1 trim fasteners and says they may be able to help if a specific clip is not shown.
    • There is also a Renault exterior roof moulding clip sold under 8200056981, but I would only use this after comparing the shape/measurements with your old clip, because I could not confirm it as the exact Captur roof-strip clip.

    My practical recommendation: take one intact white/black clip off, measure it, photograph it from top/side/bottom, and contact VehicleClips, Restagraf supplier, or a Renault dealer parts desk. Ask specifically for the retaining clips for Captur I roof moulding 738535261R / 738522314R. If they cannot supply the clip separately, the safest repair is replacing the complete roof moulding strip.

    Thanks for your tips. I am going to work with them as far as possible. But in the end I think I am going to repair the few partly broken clips in another (magnetic) one-way between the spoiler and the roof. Starting point is that after the actual rare dismantling of the spoiler (because of "wrapping" the roof) it will never demantled again.
